Three of Margaret Sedgman’s children (Josephenna Theresa, John and Matilda Cramer) are ordered by the Court to the Industrial School in Royal Park (Also see eMelbourne). The order is for 5 years duration.

Margaret says she is “utterly destitute” and has been “deserted” by her husband (John Hall Sedgman). These claims are verified by Sergeant Kahey. A warrant is issued for Margaret’s husband’s arrest.
