George Wright (22.3.1807 – 17.8.1882) is my 3rd great-grandfather (maternal side). He is the father of Jesse Wright who was the father of Frederick Wright, who was the father of Cyril Wright, my grandfather (maternal side).
George was born in Church Town, North Meols, Southport in the United Kingdom. His parents were John Wright (1767-1839) and Margaret (Peggy) Fairclough (1767-1836).
George married Mary Ann Crooks (1809-1880) on 26 December 1826 at Holy Trinity, Rothwell, Yorkshire, England. They had 10 children with Jesse being the 7th born.
